Salary: Fox Rothschild LLP offers competitive salaries commensurate with experience. # Litigation (Trial) Paralegal at Fox Rothschild LLP ## Job Description Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Litigation paralegal with prior trial experience and a minimum of eight (8) years of paralegal experience; experience with IP litigation matters, including experience matters before the ITC, is a plus. ## Primary Responsibilities - Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys in discovery; - Indexing, tracking, and controlling case related materials; - Reviewing documents for relevance and inclusion in case file; - Summarizing depositions and other transcripts; - Assist with the preparation of court filings, including cite and fact checking legal briefs, cross-reference checks, confirming proper Bluebook citation, proofreading, and assembling of exhibits and appendices; - Reviewing documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria; - Tracking and controlling document discovery (including documents produced and received in discovery); - Indexing, tracking, and controlling exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial; - Coordinating trial set-up and logistics as well as serving as liaison among various internal departments as well as with outside vendors, such as translation services, document production vendors and trial graphics providers; - Working closely and directly with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation; and - Additional responsibilities include supporting attorneys during trial, including assistance with creation of demonstratives and courtroom presentation/support. ## Skills & Abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - Ability to work independently and take initiative. - Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients/contacts. - Working knowledge of office accounting methods and techniques, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, as well as the ability to learn other programs. - Proven ability to conduct independent research. - Prepare and understand financial accounts as well as other financial and statistical reports. - Compose and disseminate correspondence as required. ## Qualifications - BA or BS degree preferred. - Associate's degree or paralegal certificate with five years of comparable work experience required. - Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrate flexibility regarding client and legal team requests. - Achieve high level of productivity. - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. ## Working Environment & Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
