A prestigious law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its growing team. The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of intellectual property litigation, including drafting claim construction briefs, invalidity and non-infringement contentions, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials. Duties

  • Draft claim construction briefs, invalidity and non-infringement contentions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Draft dispositive and pretrial motions.
  • Argue motions in federal court.
  • Assist with trademark, trade secret, and copyright litigation cases.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Provide support to senior attorneys and collaborate with team members.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of intellectual property litigation experience.
  • Experience with trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases preferred.
  • Admission to the relevant jurisdiction required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the relevant jurisdiction (MA, RI, or CT).

Skills

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with depositions, motions, and pretrial work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
