Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with a J.D. degree and a license to practice law preferably in at least one jurisdiction or equivalent. Must have 10+ years of practical legal work experience in key specialty. Applicable certifications are preferred. Must have in-depth technical knowledge of theories and practices within contract law, vendor license agreements, insurance regulatory matters, insurance litigation management. Working knowledge of insurance operations is required. The ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of external and/or internal business partners within scope of responsibility, team and/or matrix environment is needed. Leadership and management skills demonstrating integrity and professionalism are essential. The ability to drive results by identifying, and resolving problems within scope of responsibility is a must. Knowledge of the industry, its products and services is essential. Knowledge of MS Office Suite and other business-related software is a must.
