Legal Assistant
Responsibilities: Organize, prepare and maintain various corporate documents, including corporate organizational documents and compliance documents such as annual reports for 100+ subsidiaries. Correspond with third party service providers that provides corporate compliance services (ie:CSC). Complete “Know Your Customer” forms for Lenders. Prepare and seek original signatures from corporate officers. Assist with paperwork needed by third party service providers, lenders, and other parties.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: College Degree required. Highly organized and diligent. Strong communications, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate with all functional areas of the company. Basic knowledge of corporate entities and structure. Motivated, quick learner. Experience using Docusign and Dropbox. Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables. Excellent prioritization skills. Superb ability to meet committed timelines. Team player mentality. Superb attention to details. Experience seeking apostilles in Virginia. Experience as a corporate paralegal or similar role at a company a plus. Virginia notary preferred.
