Contract Manager - Remote Duties: In understanding the concept of a Contract Manager, you will manage and facilitate the sales contract process by working directly with the sales team, sales leadership, legal, finance, and other related parties. Accurately and efficiently track and report on all open, stalled, or otherwise ‘in process’ contracts, including reason, next steps, etc. using Salesforce.com as the tool for managing the process and tracking. Maintain and prioritize the queue of Open contracts. Ensure that contracts/customer agreements move efficiently and quickly through the process to completion Maintaining Sales contract database/SharePoint with all current contracts Ensure that all agreements have the necessary sales, business, and legal approvals required. Execute on all RFP/Surveys etc. by developing close relationships with sales, product, marketing, legal, and finance. Create or procure and maintain a content management system working directly with SME’s to ensure data is updated on a consistent basis. Consistently seek enhanced efficiency and effectiveness of the end-to-end contracts and RFP management process leveraging best practices. Work with marketing, subject matter experts, and training to ensure response information is consistent with each group’s content/message (including collateral material). Be a highly collaborative and supportive partner to the CT sales team. Participate in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements by examining estimates of materials, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules. Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other related items. Review bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids. Negotiate contracts and amend as needed. Act as liaison between company and subcontractors to implement fulfillment of contracts. Handle highly complex, comprehensive contracts for a Customer Unit or Business Unit. Be directly involved in high-profile broad-based contracts and/or other key customer contracts. Works under general guidance.
Qualification and Experience
Required Qualifications: 3+ years in related Deal Desk, Contract support, Sales Operations, Pricing or Finance, ideally supporting transaction-heavy sales activity. Extensive experience with managing the RFP/RFI lifecycle. Experience with applications such as Salesforce.com, Qvidian, DocuSign, and other contract management platforms as well as Microsoft Office Suite and strong knowledge of systems for optimization of workflow. Preferred Qualifications: Industry-specific experience within the legal services market. Contract Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or Legal Assistant experience. Experience working in a subscription sale environment, for example, the software industry. Strong Project Management skills and analytical abilities. Proven ability to work well within a highly matrixed organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team-oriented, collaborative work style.
