Duties
- Manage family law cases, including client consultations, legal research, drafting legal documents, and courtroom representation.
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and other team members to provide high-quality legal support.
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex family law issues to develop case strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Handle a variety of legal matters such as divorce, child custody, alimony, and domestic violence cases.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, organized, and filed according to legal requirements.
- Maintain a high level of client service and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility for admission.
- Strong research and analytical skills to address complex legal issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to draft clear and effective legal documents.
- Experience in family law is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and maintain organization.
- Collaborative and self-motivated with attention to detail.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active Washington State Bar license (or eligibility for admission).
