Summer Internship Program
The intern will work in the Consumer Protection Unit. Will work closely with the Staff Attorneys in all aspects of the work of Unit's Legal Division. Legal research and writing (briefs, memoranda), drafting legal documents (Subpoenas, Investigative Demands, Notices of Contemplated Legal Action), drafting settlement agreements, and consumer contact are just some of the daily tasks and responsibilities. The primary goal of the internship program is to give law students a hands-on opportunity to experience a unique public law practice. In addition to real life lawyering experiences, interns will also have the opportunity to attend out of office events. Rising third year law students who are currently enrolled in an accredited law school will be considered. The program generally runs from the first week in June through the second week in August.

Stipend: $3000

Application Deadline: November 15

Everyone Loves LawCrossing

LawCrossing was probably the best legal board I have used. I liked the layout and it was user friendly. I tried to use another job board, but it was not user friendly and was kind of a pain, whereas LawCrossing was easy to use to find jobs. I really liked it. I would certainly recommend this site and service to my colleagues.
