Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will be answering calls for a portion of the day. Will be greeting clients. Preparing materials for meetings and document executions. Managing Brooklyn office: files, supplies, etc. Scanning documents. Court filings. Preparing mailings. Preparing probate/administration petitions and related legal docs. Preparing basic estate planning documents. Preparing basic deeds and ACRIS. Prior experience working at a law office is essential. 1+ year or longer working at a law firm focused on trusts and estates, experience with probate and estate administration, drafting basic estate planning documents. Experience with bookkeeping (Quickbooks) and/or trust and estate accountings is essential.
