Chicago office of our client seeks intellectual property life sciences litigation associate attorney with 2-6 years of experience in patent litigation including significant work in life sciences patent litigation, for example, Hatch-Waxman, BPCIA, or other life sciences cases. The candidate will serve in all aspects of patent litigation (development of strategies, taking discovery, working with technical experts and other witnesses, drafting motions and other court filings, court appearances, and supporting and participating in depositions and trials in patent infringement actions). Must have an undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field in the life sciences. An advanced degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field in the life sciences is preferred. Must have license to practice law in Illinois (or licensed to practice law in another state and qualified to sit for the Illinois Bar exam or otherwise become a member of the Illinois Bar).
