ProfilePawtucket office of our client seeks bankruptcy attorney with 2+ years of experience providing creditor focused representation in insolvency matters. The candidate will oversee and work closely with support staff in drafting and reviewing all documentation associated with bankruptcy matters. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bankruptcy process including plan confirmation, motions for relief, contested matters, adversary proceedings and the like. Represent the interest of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Review all statutorily required notices, correspondence, pleadings and other documents. Efficiently and effectively prepare and respond to written inquiries or disputes. Attend and argue motions and other hearings before the courts. Attend mediation sessions. Work closely with and provide legal counsel to clients throughout the process. Should be admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Massachusetts and one or more of the following states: RI, ME, NH, CT and VT. Admission to practice in Federal and Bankruptcy courts with CM/ECF filing credentials in-hand is essential. Strong knowledge of secured creditor issues is essential.
