Government Contracts Attorney The candidate must have 13+ years of experience and a partial portable book of business. Should have significant experience in the area of government contracts and federal procurement. Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (the FAR), the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), as it pertains to clients in the transportation (maritime, trucking and aviation), aerospace and defense, biotechnology and medical research, engineering and construction, environmental remediation, professional services and information technology sectors will be most helpful. Prior work experience in federal agencies or on congressional committees a plus. License to practice law in the District of Columbia is required.
