Plaintiff's Personal Injury Legal Assistant The candidate should be an experienced Legal Assistant with a strong emphasis in medical record retrieval. Manage processing case intake documents. Handling of multi-calendar system and SOL list including scheduling events, meetings, deadlines, to-doâ€™s, etc. Issuing a high volume of record requests with consistent follow-up.Communications with a wide variety of people including clientele, third-parties, medical health professionals, government agencies, clientele, and others. Lien search, verifying validity of liens. Drafting of legal documents and correspondence. Organization of physical and electronic case files. Experience in managing electronic and paper filing systems, including knowledge of word software, Adobe, Power-Power, illustrations, and Time Matters Management Software (similar to Needles). Will possess the experience above and further exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high volume workload, strong writing and research skills, the ability to anticipate case needs, identifying problems and finding solutions, the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all, among other professional criteria. Should have 3+ years experience as a legal assistant performing similar duties with emphasis in medical record retrieval. Paralegal certification and/or degree a plus.
