Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of legal support activities, including helping paralegals and attorneys with immigration forms, research and writing, and client interactions and translation. Support paralegals in completing immigration forms and supporting documentation. Assist attorneys in client meetings (note-taking and translating from English / Spanish). Perform basic legal research. Perform client follow-ups and collect biographical information. Assist in immigration filings and deadlines. Draft and write legal memos. Input notes and track tasks in Clio. Must have Bachelors degree. Should be fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese and English. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (including Word and Outlook) is needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is must. Experienced with maintaining confidential and sensitive information is essential.
