Fall Internship The interns will be asked to perform many tasks that will familiarize them with the daily duties of a Capitol Hill staff member. Interns will be given important responsibilities such as guiding constituent tours, researching legislation for the Member and legislative staff, attending hearings, and assisting in drafting constituent correspondence on various policy issues before the House. College students are considered. Office hours can be flexible to accommodate students' hectic course schedules, but generally run 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when Congress is in session, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when not in session.
