Contract Mgmt Doc Officer II The candidate will prepare, review and negotiate agreements with a focus on trade finance (letters of credit and supply chain finance, receivables finance) and also supporting documentation for account opening, treasury management, foreign exchange and Card products. Applies experience, industry standards and knowledge of trade and treasury products, and company policies to address related credit, risk compliance, legal, operational and business issues. Facilitates communications among sales, implementation, product, operations, compliance, risk, credit officers, legal staff, and client managers to promptly resolve documentation issues. Advises and educates internal associates about documentation standards and options, policies and procedures.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should be a qualified attorney or paralegal with experience of finance contracts drafting. Experience of drafting/negotiating finance contracts- conducts negotiations effectively, balancing competing objectives to achieve optimal results. Some knowledge of Lending or Trade Finance. Capable of organizing and prioritizing a large number of competing, complex documentation assignments to meet customer needs. Have excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills and is comfortable representing the bank in communications with associates, clients and internal/external counsel at all levels of management. Strong organizational skills, able to handle full workload with tight deadlines. Ability to develop effective and positive client relationships. Ability to work autonomously. Collaborative. Strong attention to details. Quick and independent learner. Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements. Supply chain finance knowledge preferred. Knowledge of traditional trade finance and knowledge and other treasury products a plus.
