The candidate will conduct regulatory research and draft legal memoranda. Review, redline, and negotiate commercial contracts. Provide legal advice and develop materials for non-lawyer staff summarizing laws/regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of regulatory changes at the City, State, and Federal levels. Address ad hoc legal issues. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required. Should have a J.D. from an accredited law school. Bar Admission, New York preferred. Should have 2-5 years of in-house, law firm, or governmental experience. Demonstrated exceptional organizational, analytical, facilitation, written and oral communication, and training and presentation skills. Demonstrates skills in collaboration, teamwork, inclusive leadership, and problem-solving to achieve goals. Demonstrates ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively to create engagement and support across multiple levels within the organization. A high level of integrity and trust. Demonstrates capacity to work independently with strong follow-through skills. Strong attention to detail.
