Job Title: Family Law Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm located in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a skilled Family Law Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. This full-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a balance of in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation experience, particularly within family law, and will play a key role in managing complex cases, client interactions, and courtroom proceedings.

Duties:

• Manage family law cases from inception to resolution, including drafting and filing legal motions, pleadings, and discovery documents
• Represent clients in court, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Conduct depositions, interviews, and legal research to build case strategies
• Advise clients on legal rights, options, and potential outcomes throughout the process
• Work closely with support staff and other attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure timely execution of tasks
• Provide clear and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and legal teams
• Handle pretrial motions, hearings, and case negotiations to facilitate favorable outcomes

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida with a Florida Bar license in good standing
• 3-5 years of experience in family law and litigation
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex family law cases and litigation procedures
• Proven experience in courtroom proceedings, including trials, depositions, and hearings
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Florida Bar License

Skills:

• Expertise in family law, including divorce, custody, child support, and spousal support
• Strong litigation and trial experience
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting of legal documents
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Negotiation skills for settlements and case resolution
