Paralegal The candidate assists with the formation, maintenance and disposition of subsidiaries, including drafting documents based on existing templates, preparing and maintaining charter documents and foreign qualifications, business registrations and powers of attorney, and coordinating with local counsel for non-US companies. Maintain physical minute books as well as the corporate database of global subsidiaries Prepares contract and amendments from standard templates and reviews third party changes. Facilitates proofreading and collecting contracts (by, for example, filing in basic information on a contract from, proofreading and collecting business information for exhibits/appendices). Works with matter management and/or contract lifecycle software systems. Provides general administrative support as needed. Must have 5 years paralegal experience in a corporate level department (highly preferred) or law firm. Should have Bachelorâ€™s degree and Paralegal certificate (ABA approved). Experience working with commercial contracts; contract review and drafting is required. Highly skilled in MS Office â€“ Word (tracking changes & mail merges), Excel and Outlook is needed. Notary Public is a plus.
