Real Estate Paralegal, Part-time, Contract Duties: Correspond with clients, title companies, surveyors, lenders, agents, opposing attorneys, city and county office, and all parties to the transaction to facilitate the closing. Prepare, review, analyze and organize documents for real estate transactions including not but limited to attorney approval and inspection letters. Gather and complete all forms necessary to perform a short sale transaction. Experience maneuvering through the Equator System. Order title and ensure that title is clear before closing. Order surveys. Coordinate Closings. Order and draft closing documents. Attend Closings if necessary.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: A paralegal certificate, 4-year college degree, or 5 years legal experience. 3-5 years of previous real estate experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Organized with the willingness to work hard. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines and other time constraints, with competing and shifting priorities. Knowledge and commitment of the utilization of technology. Strong time management skills. Strong commitment to client service. Proven track record of dependability, dedication, confidential handling of all matters and outstanding work product. Skills:. Excellent computer skills including: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Superior typing and word processing skills. Outstanding oral and written communications skills. Top-level customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
