Immigration Legal Assistant Duties: Return voicemails, answer incoming telephone calls, including handling multiple calls at the same time. Meet and greet clients and potential clients. Screen new client calls and forward appropriately. Receive, input, scan, and distribute mail.. Make photocopies, assist with scanning projects and preparing correspondence. Schedules appointments, maintains calendar. Review emails and respond accordingly. Filing legal documents and clerical tasks. Common areas throughout office. Assist with ordering supplies and tracking inventory. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: High School diploma. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; and 1-3 years prior experience in a professional environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Attention to detail and high level of initiative. Ability to maintain confidentiality. General knowledge of Microsoft 10 (Word and Excel) and internet. Excellent attendance, punctuality, and grammar a must.
