Litigation - General (consumer)

Associate General Counsel, Litigation Responsibilities: The candidate will manage and drive strategy for a variety of high-profile litigation and pre-litigation matters, including regulatory litigation, consumer class actions, antitrust, constitutional, commercial disputes, and other content-related matters. Collaborate with and manage outside counsel. Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks. Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities in partnership with our world-class eDiscovery team. Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: The candidate should have a J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state Bar. Must have 8+ years of litigation experience at a law firm, government, and/or in-house role. Experience defending litigation with state and federal regulators. Experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Experience working with technology companies is preferred. Experience working with cross-functional teams, both legal and non-legal is desired. Trial and appellate experience is preferred.
