A law firm in Pittsburgh is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Real Estate Associate Attorney with expertise in commercial real estate leasing and general commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of real estate matters, including development, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, zoning and land development approvals, and title/survey review. Experience in renewable energy transactions is also desirable. This role offers active mentoring from experienced lawyers and opportunities for professional growth.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and negotiate commercial real estate leases and related documents.
  • Handle various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
  • Advise clients on zoning and land use issues, and assist with land development approvals.
  • Conduct due diligence, title review, and survey analysis.
  • Draft and review transactional documents such as purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to achieve transactional objectives.
  • Provide legal support and guidance on real estate matters to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and in good standing.
  • 4-8 years of experience in commercial real estate law, preferably at a law firm.
  • Expertise in commercial real estate leasing and transactional work, including development, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Experience with renewable energy transactions is advantageous.
  • Strong academic credentials and demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and in good standing.
