Assistant Town Attorney The candidate will be representing the Town in a wide range of matters such as: prosecution of building and zoning code violations in District Court, defense against claims of personal injury and property damage, researching questions of municipal law, drafting and negotiating contracts, and preparing Town Board resolutions and local laws. Must have several years of municipal law experience, strong research and writing skills, strong litigation skills, including trial experience, the ability to defend Article 78 proceedings and cases brought under 42 U.S.C. 1983, and knowledge of either environmental law or personal injury law. Must be admitted to the New York State Bar.
