Program Manager The candidate will manage, direct, coordinate, and document all aspects of the H-2A/H-2B foreign labor certification process. Will monitor and evaluate the work of 10+ staff members to facilitate employee development and improve efficiency of operations. Act as liaison between firm's and various regulatory agencies for recruitment, consulate appointments, housing, transportation, worker abandonment, and termination notices. Resolve problems in meeting established goals and objectives for program effectiveness and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulatory guidelines. Conduct team meetings, employer training, and reporting for the CEO, COO, and Board of Directors regarding visa programs. Support and promote firm's vision and mission internally, in the industry, and in the community. Speak at seminars and other events regarding non-immigrant visa programs. Create and retain files as required by law.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have bachelor's degree. Must have 3+ years of management and leadership experience. Must have experience working with federal/state agencies and programs. Possess excellent cultural sensitivity skills. Must be able to effectively write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to effectively communicate and present information to large groups. Must have strong knowledge of computer business applications including Word, Excel, Gmail, and PowerPoint. Should preferably have 3+ years of experience as an Immigration Attorney, Immigration Officer, or Immigration Paralegal. Should preferably have 5+ years of experience managing people and projects. Knowledge of the Agricultural Industry, Immigration, and Federal H-2A program is preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in the Spanish language (prefer dialect of Mexico/Mexican culture) is preferred. Must have knowledge of basic immigration law, and experience working with government entities.
