Profile

Paralegal/Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Processing and responding to internal and external legal requests in a timely manner. Overseeing the entire contract management process from legal request to archival. Opportunity to prepare initial drafts of various contracts. Filing and managing contracts and other documents. Developing and maintaining archive databases for agreements and other documents. Providing general administrative support to the legal team. Acting as an information source on organization policies and procedures. Assisting in establishment of office policies and procedures. Assisting in business registration filings and renewals. Undertaking special projects as requested.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials. Legal assistant or paralegal certification is a plus. Notary or willing to become one. Prior work experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent analytical skills, with a strong ability to review and organize numerous legal documents. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter who works well independently, but knows when to seek input or ask for guidance. Demonstrated team player who enjoys working with others. Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong communications skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Positive energy, enthusiasm, flexibility, confidence, and ability to cope with stress are a must.
