Location: Livingston, NJ
Duties:
- Provide legal advice and counsel across various practice areas, including Wills, Trusts & Estates, Real Estate, Business Law, Bankruptcy, Debtor Protection, and Aviation Law.
- Conduct legal research to support client matters and ensure comprehensive understanding of relevant laws.
- Handle litigation cases, including pre-litigation negotiations and in-court litigation.
- Manage labor and employment law matters as required.
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Work independently and remotely while maintaining close communication with the team.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of law in the practice areas of Wills, Trusts & Estates, Real Estate, Business Law, Bankruptcy, Debtor Protection, and Aviation Law.
- Experience providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and handling litigation cases.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex cases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in estates and trusts, probate and administration, business law, real estate, bankruptcy, or aviation law is a plus.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the New Jersey and New York State Bar or Pending Admission.
Skills:
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Expertise in the practice areas of Wills, Trusts & Estates, Real Estate, Business Law, Bankruptcy, Debtor Protection, and Aviation Law.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage litigation cases and handle diverse legal matters.
