ProfileContracts Specialist Responsibilities: Understand how Acronis products are built and operate and how that impacts what Acronis can promise customers and what it cannot. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer and vendor contracts to the point that senior lawyers or executive management can step in and finalize the negotiations. Interacting with stakeholders within the organization to ensure timely, appropriate and accurate contract preparation and problem resolution. Ensuring that contracts reflect Acronisâ€™ corporate and legal standards and comply with Acronis policies. Ensuring that contracts are entered into by the appropriate Acronis entity and that no contract is signed without approval of all relevant stakeholders. Provide general legal support to other business functions as learns more about Acronis and its business.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctor degree or LLM from ABA accredited law school or a reputable foreign university and admission to a US or foreign Bar is required. Should have 2+ years of contracts review and negotiation experience is required, particularly for these kinds of contracts: NDAs; software licenses, including SAAS agreements; purchase agreements; distribution and reseller agreements; license renewals; maintenance and support contracts; service level agreements; EULAs; & professional services agreements and statements of work. Experience in a law firm, or corporate legal department in a software or high-tech company, is required. Excellent academic credentials. Excellent interpersonal skills. Sales experience (dealing with customers) in a consumer or corporate environment is required. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Fluency in spoken and written German is highly preferred.
