Duties:
- Develop and implement case strategies from inception to resolution.
- Engage with insurance companies for case negotiations.
- Maintain consistent and empathetic communication with clients regarding case progress.
- Supervise paralegals within the case management system to ensure efficient case flow.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal documents for litigated cases.
- Review, edit, and approve discovery drafts and requests.
- Analyze and review medical records and reports pertinent to cases.
- Develop, review, and refine demand packages for settlement negotiations.
- Oversee settlement negotiations, ensuring lien reductions and fair resolutions.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.

Requirements:
- Active Bar License in Missouri and/or Kansas (both preferred).
- Prior experience in personal injury law, with practical litigation experience.
- Experience handling direct interactions with clients and insurance companies.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, case management systems (Filevine experience a plus), and legal research tools.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active membership in the Missouri and/or Kansas State Bar.
