Auto Accident Paralegal Responsibilities and Duties: Communicating effectively and professionally with clients and parties involved in a lawsuit over telephone and in person; Assisting lawyers in preparing trials; Gathering discovery; review and draft discovery requests/responses; Requesting any reports, records or documents needed for cases; Drafting legal documents such as affidavits and pleadings; Requesting medical records and bills; Reporting to the office manager as needed, as well as attend weekly or quarterly staff meetings; Paralegal will be under frequent supervision from lawyers and office manager.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Punctuality, professionalism, and excellent communication and writing skills are of paramount importance; Should have 3+ years of experience; Highly organized and detail-oriented; A minimum high-school degree or equivalent paralegal experience required; Other minimum qualifications include: knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic technological and research skills necessary to pull requested documents from online resources required; Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, and present a positive, professional image with colleagues, professional staff, and vendors; Spanish language skills are preferred.
