Associate General Counsel, Labor and Employment The candidate will report to the Associate General Counsel, Labor and Employment covering our Technical and Engineering organizations, and will provide support to our technical, product, and engineering functions. Provide counseling and support for human resources and recruiting organizations, as well as general employment law support. Provide advice and strategic support to HR Business Partners and business leaders on employee terminations, performance management, investigations, accommodations, reorganizations, agency charges, and other employment-related matters. Collaborate with other attorneys on the team with respect to all advice and counseling provided to HR and other cross-functional partners. Draft and edit employment related documents and processes. Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters. Must have JD degree and membership in one State Bar. Should have 8+ years of experience in labor and employment counseling and/or litigation. CA or NY bar membership is preferred. Experience counseling on, or litigation related to, California and/or federal employment laws is required, Employment litigation experience and experience coordinating and driving projects to completion (including litigations) is needed. 2+ years in-house experience is desired. Familiarity with California employment law is a plus.
