Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a Securities Attorney with extensive experience managing structured securities offerings. This is a professional track (non-partnership) position. The role requires a strong background in commercial real estate law, with a focus on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The attorney will represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional and financial investors in transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and commercial real estate development. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively on sophisticated transactions in a dynamic environment.
Location:

Duties:
Manage structured securities offerings for the Investment Funds Group.
Represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional and financial investors in various transactions.
Handle acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and complex financings related to commercial real estate.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to securities offerings and real estate transactions.
Provide legal counsel on regulatory and compliance matters concerning investment funds and securities laws.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute transactions efficiently.
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
Experience with commercial real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Strong background representing REITs and institutional investors in complex real estate transactions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong business judgment and attention to detail.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
