Associate Paralegal/Paralegal - Licensing and Merchandising Contracts The candidate will review, draft, negotiate and process a high volume of many varied agreements including non-disclosure agreements, standardized license agreements, services agreements, vendor agreements, renewals, shipping authorizations, demand letters, warning letters and other correspondence. Point of contact for initial drafting, processing, and facilitating execution of agreements and related legal documentation and facilitating dissemination of agreements, documentation and information. Provide a high-level of professionalism and client-service (including the prioritizing and escalating matters as needed). Coordinate and develop good working relationships with the internal business team, external licensees and vendors, supervising attorneys and other offices - remain in good communication with team about breaks, current projects, workload, etc. Update and make changes to the form agreements and other legal templates. Administrate all contract-related activities including without limitation, obtaining signatures and distributing original signed copies, notifying relevant stakeholders of the contract execution status, maintaining up-to-date contract status reports. Manage and update contracts database, Conga/Novatus experience preferred. Provide general office and administrative assistant support duties as needed. Perform other duties as assigned including management of special projects on an as-needed basis.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent. Must have 2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in technology, entertainment, gaming or a related field. Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience. Must be a self-starter and able to work in fast-paced, challenging environment, with tight timelines. Must be interested in developing business knowledge and contract drafting and negotiation skills. Team player, with strong communication, organizational, and drafting skills. Detail-oriented and able to accommodate deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent MS Office Suite/Word skills, experience in drafting professional communications to a wide variety of audiences.
