Job Overview

A distinguished law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least 6 years of experience to join its Real Estate Group in Dallas. This position focuses on real estate finance and joint ventures, providing an opportunity to work on complex transactions with institutional investors, developers, and borrowers. The ideal candidate will possess robust experience in drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements and real estate financing documents.

Duties

• Represent institutional equity investors and developers in joint ventures related to multifamily, industrial, cold storage, and other commercial real estate assets.
• Take the lead in drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements for real estate acquisitions and developments.
• Represent institutional borrowers in various real estate financings, including construction loans, CMBS, and structured finance transactions.
• Lead the drafting and negotiation of loan agreements for complex financing structures, including mezzanine financing and other capital stack components.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of real estate legal experience, with a focus on real estate finance and joint ventures.
• Proven experience in handling real estate transactions involving institutional equity investors and structured financing.
• Ability to take a leadership role in drafting and negotiation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
