ProfileCompliance Analyst Duties: Responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, processes, training, corrective action plans and overall operations to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations affecting the District. Responsible for oversight of the 340B Program compliance; leading all compliance related efforts to ensure risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended; and enables District objectives and goals to be achieved. Assists the Compliance Officer with the development and ongoing management of the Compliance Program. Assists in the implementation of the Compliance Program and collaborates with District leadership as necessary. Monitors compliance education and training and the annual risk assessment, evaluation, and mitigation. Participates in the investigation or supervises the investigation of compliance and/or ethics concerns. Develops and reviews Compliance Program policies and procedures. Periodically reviews and refines cost savings report detailing purchasing, replacement practices, and dispensing patterns. Assists Compliance Officer with the development of annual audit, monitoring, and work plans. Assists in analyzing and documenting findings as a result of compliance audits; participates in auditing, monitoring, and reporting findings. Coordinates with leadership in the implementation of corrective actions as a result of monitoring, auditing, and/or other identified risks. Researches and analyzes federal and state laws and regulations for instances of noncompliance with programs, policies, procedures, and/or processes. Maintains knowledge of current regulations, best practices, and trends in the compliance field; serves as a compliance resource. May manage the 340B Program for compliance, safeguards, and system integrity of qualified patients, drugs, providers, vendors, payors, and locations. May manage documentation associated with 340B Program policies and procedures. May perform routine testing of 340B tracking software. Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or University. 5+ years of experience working with compliance regulations in a business, professional, or healthcare environment. Preferred: Masters or JD Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Business or related field from an accredited college or University. 1+ years of experience in Compliance case investigations. OR Certified Public Accountant. 1+ years of experience in Compliance case investigations. Preferred: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional.
