Job Overview: A law firm in Bethlehem, PA, is seeking an experienced Labor/Employment Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation, be capable of working independently and with clients, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in labor and employment law matters.
• Handle employment litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and represent public-sector clients in fact-findings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Advise clients on compliance with labor laws, regulations, and governmental requirements.
• Manage own caseload and work effectively within a team environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment and labor law.
• Strong background in employment litigation is essential.
• Proficiency in negotiating CBAs and representing public-sector clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have a current PA Bar License.
• Existing book of business preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
