Coordinator/Instructor, Career and Technical Education Paralegal Program (Part-time) Duties : The candidate will support paralegal program activities and provide instruction to provide adequate professional standards practices. Provide program oversight for the paralegal program requirements for on and off campus instruction. Coordinates and prepares for event activities (both community and campus) including student recruiting. Responsible for clear, accurate course and instructor scheduling. Maintains student and program files under FERPA and other guidelines. Answers inquiries ranging from routine to complex subjects for the paralegal programs. Responsible for inventory of equipment and supplies. Develops policies and procedures for maintenance of program sites and activities in coordination with the Dean. Supports part-time instructors. Models professional ethical behavior to students in course and event activities. Performs related duties as required.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : Should possess Associates Degree in Paralegal studies. Must have completed and passed the Certified Paralegal examination. Should have 2+ years’ experience working in a paralegal setting. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, organized and successful in meeting work and project deadlines. Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, verbally, in writing and in a public setting. Demonstrated Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal studies.
