Paralegal, Global Investigations The candidate will provide paralegal support to lawyers and investigators with respect to global investigations, including assisting with research, documentation, file management, billing, data analysis, reporting and other program support. Will conduct research and data compilations for lawyers and investigators. Organize documents and case files as requested. Liaise with external counsel as needed regarding case management needs. Handle document retention / document collection / document production processes for lawyers (in coordination with discovery experts). Maintain, update and develop internal databases and IT tools to support needs of lawyers and investigators in global investigations. Assist in drafting legal and other documents and correspondence. Handle billing and vendor selection processes as requested. Assist with other programmatic support, including with regard to training, conferences, data analytics and administrative tasks. Spearhead special projects as requested.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (pre-Law degree preferred). Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and an interest in learning other computer applications. Strong academic record is desired. 1+ year of relevant work experience is desired. Strong familiarity with Web-based resources to locate statutes, regulations and case law is desired. Strong familiarity with Internet-based fact and media research is required.
