Responsibilities:

  • Work with and learn from Medical Malpractice team in the litigation process for assigned cases.
  • Negotiate the best possible settlement for clients.
  • Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions.
  • Conduct depositions.
  • Manage all aspects of trial preparation including witness preparation, evidentiary analysis and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts.

Qualifications:

  • Civil Litigation Experience 1-3 years.
  • Strong proficiency in discovery practice with proven track record.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and writing skills.
  • Exceptional research and analytical writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and adeptness in trial preparation.

Licensure:

  • Must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing.
