A law firm seeks a team-oriented Associate Attorney to join its Tax practice in Cincinnati. This position is a valuable opportunity for a dedicated attorney with expertise in tax law, particularly in working with tax-exempt organizations.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on various tax law matters, focusing on tax-exempt organizations under Code Sections 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6).
• Assist clients with the management of restricted funds and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective strategies tailored to client needs.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations to offer accurate guidance to clients.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of experience in tax law is required.
• Experience with tax-exempt organizations and knowledge of charitable solicitation rules is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the bar of the state in which you will practice is required.
