A law firm in Clayton, MO, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of experience in estate planning, gift and estate tax return preparation, probate matters, and trust administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong work ethics, attention to detail, and a commitment to continually increasing expertise in these practice areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Prepare gift and estate tax returns and advise clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.
• Handle probate proceedings, including estate administration and litigation matters.
• Administer trusts, including trust funding, distributions, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on estate planning and administration matters.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Missouri Bar and in good standing.
• 2-6 years of experience practicing in estate planning, gift and estate tax return preparation, probate matters, and trust administration.
• Strong work ethics and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to professional development and increasing expertise in estate planning and related areas.

Education and Certifications:

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Missouri.

Skills:
