ProfileSenior Legal Analyst The candidate supports assigned Associate General Counsel in the provision of legal services to company and its affiliates and subsidiaries. Serve as primary point of contact for all contracting matters at assigned care site(s)/region(s). Facilitate the intake and review of contract requests and other routine requests for legal services. Accurately populate and modify approved contract templates and other form documents, such as physician employment agreements, professional services agreements, letters, legal memos, and other written documents which are customary for in-house legal departments and integrated health systems. Create, refine, and update process workflows, educational materials, checklists, and other tools which improve the service and quality of legal services provided to company. Develop, maintain expertise, and actively use contract management software programs and other software applications available to the Legal Division. Maintain familiarity with relevant company Policies and Procedures and provide support to related internal approval processes.Support, serve as a liaison to, educate, and actively collaborate with care site-based leadership teams, service line directors, contract coordinators, and compliance/privacy officers. Perform legal, industry, and other research as directed by assigned Associate General Counsel. Add additional duties to reflect SMGJ contract coordinator duties.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have High school degree or equivalent. Must have 2 years of related experience in a similar role. Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Paralegal. Should have experience populating and reviewing contracts and legal documents from templates. Must have experience managing and organizing legal matters and documentation. 5 years of experience serving clients in the healthcare industry is desired. Experience developing and managing internal workflows and approval processes in-house legal department is desired.
