Prototype Security Investigator The candidate will focus on investigating prototype device losses and client prototype policy violations to ensure prototype devices are recovered and handled per client policy. Will be expected to assist the Prototype Device Security program where needed. Secondary responsibilities will focus on supporting the overall Prototype Device Security program by providing analysis, research, process creation, documentation and implementation. This role has regular interaction with clients and various partners and may handle confidential information, and so requires strong client service skills, professionalism, and integrity. Conduct written and verbal investigations related to threats originating from internal incidents and issues such as theft, insider threat, and violation of company policy, as well as external sources outside the company. Manage a significant case and task load under tight, shifting deadlines. Represent the high quality and professional standards of the client and SIS through thoughtful, tactful written correspondence and other interpersonal communication. Guide a large amount of concurrent cases through appropriate escalation channels and see them through to resolution with urgency. Engage sensitively and appropriately with client internal teams and parties for fact finding and information gathering and sharing. Use client internal tools and procedures involving different teams and functions to resolve cases. Assist with providing incident, case analysis and/or project management services based on needs that arise (cross-functional initiatives, training and awareness efforts). Develop, track, and maintain reporting of investigation cases and other metric tracking data. Support the day-to-day administration of the general Prototype Device Security program and related activities. Assist business owners in identifying process/procedure gaps and developing controls for continuous review and evaluation. Analyze time and asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes for continual improvement. Provide feedback on behavioral trends to inform security education campaigns.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate will should preferably have B.A. or B.S. Degree in a relevant field (required). Must have 2-3 years’ experience working at a multinational corporation or professional services firm as a corporate investigator, corporate security analyst, fraud analyst, intelligence analyst, paralegal, or other roles involving critical problem-solving of complex issues and exposure to corporate security (required). Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office and is comfortable frequently learning new software tools. Some professional exposure to the consumer electronics industry s preferred. Have prior experience in a client-facing role (preferred).
