Paralegal The candidate should preferably have Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Must have 5+ years of litigation experience with mastery of calendaring procedures and electronic filings in Federal and State court. Should have a comprehensive working knowledge of Federal and State court systems. Strong litigation skills and knowledge of general calendaring procedures in Federal and State court are required. Must have knowledge of legal terminology, legal and court procedures, e-filings, docket and records management. Practical knowledge of timekeeping, client billing, A/R responsibilities and expense reimbursement procedures essential. Proficiency with MS Word is a must, including the use of styles and the creation and formatting of pleadings and other complex documents, including appeals briefs, and tables of contents and authorities. Should have exceptional grammar, spelling, redlining and proofreading skills.
