The candidate will prepare US employment-based, nonimmigrant and immigrant visa filings to US Department of Labor, US Citizenship and Immigration Services, US Department of State, and US Customs and Border Protection. Compile immigration eligibility documents and analyze individuals’ potential immigration benefits, including for H-1B and L-1 visa processing. Assist with coordinating global immigration matters with our network of local counsel across the globe. Provide consular application services, including coordinating visa applications and document legalization/authentication. Communicate clearly and effectively, based on attorney advice, on immigration benefits, government procedures, and case processing time lines. Assist multiple attorneys with meticulously tracking and reporting on visa expiration dates and filing deadlines. Maintain a high sense of urgency and commitment to meet deadlines while meeting client requirements. Adhere to strict delivery schedules and timelines to ensure timely delivery of services and work product.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have 4+ years’ experience in high-volume US visa processing, including primarily H-1B and L-1 visa processing, as well as senior executive cases and employment-based permanent residency. Must have global immigration experience coordinating work permit, residence permit, and visa requirements for multiple regions including Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Must have experience and a desire to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, possessing an attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and enjoy providing top quality customer service to assist growing GMM team in managing the mobility needs of our diverse, Fortune 500 client base. Experience delivering client services in accordance with SLAs.

There needs to be a focus on offering employees a varied work schedule. Management should work towards improving in the area of treating the support team with more respect.

Pros : The law firm offers a salary that is in the same area as other firms. The firm does pay attention to the office and its employees. Employees are shown recognition for what they do for the firm.
Cons : The law firm falls short in offering a varied work schedule for people who struggle with balancing work. The support team is not treated with the same respect as others.
