Director of Contracts Administration The candidate: Manages, oversees and prepares contractual agreements and documents for commercial and government customers in support of new business proposals, contract amendments and product support agreements. Provides expert advice and interpretation of legal, contract, and subcontract terms and conditions to minimize risk and potential liabilities. Monitors and reports on performance against contractual requirements. Leads both single and multi-site contract negotiations of critical significance to LTG. Consults with and advises leadership on major and/or critical contract negotiations to ensure appropriate review of potential liabilities and to assess risk-bearing contractual terms. Works across LTG to determine negotiation strategy and workable alternatives. Implements improvements to enhance contract review and flow down processes. Plans, develops, and implements systems, procedures and training to be used across the Group. Develops and implements programs to increase cross-functional knowledge and awareness of contracting requirements and policies as needed. Implementation of and adherence to LTG export/import compliance policies and procedures. Investigates and resolves compliance problems, and responds to questions from internal sources, customers or government regulatory agencies. Prepares letters on behalf of Group positions. Other duties as assigned. Must have 10+ years of commercial and government contracting experience with advanced knowledge and understanding of contract management processes and all contract types. Advanced proficiency in contract management concepts, tools, techniques and risk management is essential. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline is essential. Contracts management certification (CFCM) preferred. Advanced degree (MBA/JD) is desirable.
