A&E Claim Analyst IV is a key role in the General Insurance Claims Department of American International Group (AIG). This position is responsible for providing superior customer service, directing investigations, managing litigation, analyzing coverage, preparing coverage position letters, and formulating and documenting claim handling and resolution strategies.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of experience handling insurance claims, litigation or other related experience, and Architects & Engineers Professional Liability and/or other E&O claims experience. Design professional and/or construction industry experience is preferred.

The A&E Claim Analyst IV must have a proven ability to analyze policies of insurance and legal documents, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), and a proven track record of experience in the handling of professional liability claims. The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and provide superior customer service is also essential.
