Will value assets, either manually or by use of computer programs, including required research. Prepare inventory and other court required filings. Prepare estate tax returns. Provide information regarding filing deadlines and/or other deadlines for inclusion on the firm-wide docket. Contact court and other agencies in order to process filings, record deeds and other conveyances, and, when required, to personally file estate documents. Arrange distributions to or on behalf of beneficiaries. Coordinate income tax information with accountants. Draft deeds and other transfer documents to fund revocable trusts. Research state and county records to obtain information on business entities and heirs. Review brokerage statements. Arrange distributions to or on behalf of beneficiaries.
