A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its general liability defense team. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, with offices located in Hingham, MA, and other Massachusetts locations, including Woburn and Boston, as well as Hampton, NH. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a seasoned team of attorneys while managing a high-volume caseload.

Duties:

• Handle all phases of litigation in cases related to various areas of law.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs, for submission to courts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide strategic legal advice.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies and defenses.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them updated on case progress and legal strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently to meet client objectives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of attorneys and support staff.
• Experience managing a high-volume caseload.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required, or the ability to obtain admission promptly.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, or willingness to gain admission.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and litigation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly to clients and team members.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
