Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of paralegal experience. 8+ years' of paralegal experience with 4+ years as a corporate/securities paralegal or related experience. Significant experience proactively assisting with public company Board management and agenda setting. Corporate governance, SEC and/or contracts experience also required. Experience assisting with various SEC and related compliance matters, including preparation of Section 16 reports. Strong familiarity with public company corporate governance best practices and SOX compliance. Highly detail oriented. Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability and desire to work within a team environment. Highly professional with superior verbal and written communications skills. Ability to handle extremely sensitive, confidential matters. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound discretion and judgment. Strong comfort with using software and electronic platforms such as SharePoint, DocUSign, and contract management systems. Preferred: Paralegal certificate from an accredited program. In-house public company experience strongly preferred. Law firm experience a plus. Experience with discovery and other litigation related matters. Experience managing contracts processes, electronic databases, and/or managing legal department operations preferred. Experience with the administration of equity incentive programs. Experience drafting basic contracts.
