Corporate Paralegal The candidate will support the Legal Department primarily in the areas of administering corporate records, maintenance of corporate entity database (hCue) management, state filings to maintain numerous company subsidiaries in good-standing, legal research and to perform all other tasks and special projects as may be assigned by the General Counsel, other company attorneys or the Manager, Corporate Compliance. Corporate Records: Prepare and file corporate state filings to qualify and maintain entity good-standing. Assist with miscellaneous internal/external requests for information. Perform research related to corporate documents and entities. Provide assistance in maintaining corporate organizational records, including updating corporate record books, uploading and maintaining documents and corporate entity vital changes in hCue, providing hCue user training and generating hCue reports as needed in a back-up capacity. Document requests for closings. DBA (doing business as) facilities filings, maintain and track renewals. Prepare and File Foreign Qualifications. Track deadlines. Follow-up on outstanding items. Check documents/signature blocks for legal entity accuracy. Obtain document signatures. Support legal department and corporate executives on special projects and other legal matters, as requested. All other duties as assigned by the General Counsel, other company attorneys or the Manager, Corporate Compliance. Should possess an Associate’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal studies with 3+ years corporate paralegal experience preferred. Experience in corporate records management and entity organization a plus.
